Rinat Ran-Ressler, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Nestlé Health Science, a subsidiary company of Nestlé. Nestlé Health Science is a leader in the field of nutritional science with an extensive portfolio of science-based consumer health, medical nutrition and supplement brands.
Dr. Ran-Ressler is a registered dietitian with a PhD in Human Nutrition from Cornell University. Rinat studied the role of rare fatty acids--Branched Chain Fatty Acids-- in Dr. Tom Brenna’s laboratory. This research was the first to report a nutritional role for these rare fatty acids in the gut development of neonates.
Before pursuing her PhD, Rinat was the Head Dietitian at Materna Laboratories—an infant formula company in Israel. She also worked as a Registered Dietitian in Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Rinat also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.
Rinat currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, two children, and their adopted dog.
