Dr. Vermont P Dia is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food Science, The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture. He currently teaches an introductory class in Science of Foods and Food Chemistry Laboratory. His research program focuses on the health promoting effects of food-derived bioactives focusing on bioactiev peptides and phenolics.
