Jeffrey Popiel received a diploma in Chemical Technology from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology and is currently working as a Research Technician for Lipid Quality & Utilization at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, SK. He has experience working in detergent manufacturing, analytical laboratories, crop science, and oil crushing. In his current position, he has the opportunity to combine his career experiences as well as his food science, foraging and fermenting hobbies while augmenting them by pursuing new information with research.
