Ipek Bayram is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Food Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. She earned her Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023 under the mentorship of Dr. Eric A. Decker, where she also continued her work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Her research focuses on food chemistry, lipid chemistry, lipid oxidation, antioxidants, bioactive lipids, emulsions, and advanced chromatographic techniques.
