Takaya Sakai, PhD

Dr. Takaya Sakai joined Kao Corporation, Japan in 1992, working in the Material Research Lab. He has been involved in Research and Development for Functional Surfactants for more than 24 years. His roles dealt with designing surfactact molecular structure, aggregation behavior in water, vesicle fusion, synergism in mixed surfactant system, and foam boosting and detergency. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering at Yamagata University in 2013 and a M.S. in Science at Tokyo University of Science in 1992.
