Ahmad Mustafa, PhD

Dr. Mustafa is currently the Technical Service Manager at Novonesis Egypt, a position he has held since January 2025. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, MSA University, Egypt, from 2017 to 2024, and was a member of the MSA University Center of Excellence for Projects and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Mustafa has significant industry experience, having worked as a process engineer, quality manager, and R&D manager at Oleo Misr for Oleochemicals (2010-2016). He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Minia University at the age of 28, with experimental studies conducted at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), Portugal. In 2018, Dr. Mustafa earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Greenwich, UK, and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2019, he was recognized as the youngest Ph.D. holder at MSA University, and in 2022, he was awarded for his contributions to applied research with industrial partners. He has published in high-impact journals and been a speaker at international conferences.
