I'm currently a PhD student at South Dakota State University under the guidance of Dr. Bishnu Karki. My research focuses on adding value to sunflower processing byproducts using novel processing technologies such as fermentation technology. We aim to revolutionalize current agricultural system by emphasizing on the concept of circular bioeconomy and we try to make this possible by using naturally available fungi as the fermenting microbes.
