I am Anye Catharine Nora Drum, a Bioprocessing and Biotechnological Engineer from the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Dois Vizinhos, Brazil. I was born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, and have always been passionate about biotechnology and sustainable bioprocesses. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Microbiology at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, USA. My research focuses on optimizing chitin production using agricultural waste as a substrate, contributing to sustainable bioprocessing solutions. My academic and professional interests lie in fermentation, microbial biotechnology, and valorization of industrial byproducts for high-value biomaterials.
