Beate is Senior ingredient specialist for lipids in Nestlé’s global product development center for culinary products. As technical advisor for lipids she guides the ingredient choice in R&D. This requires a wholistic understanding of the ingredient including sourcing, manufacturing, nutritional and environmental impact. She acts as technical contact for suppliers and partners. Beate has a strong background in natural sciences and nutrition. She graduated at Hohenheim University, Germany and holds a PhD from University of Birmingham, UK.
