Researcher
University College Odisee, Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium
My name is Axel Paelinck, and I am a lecturer and researcher at Odisee University of Applied Sciences, where I am part of the Biochemical Innovation Team Odisee (BIT-O). My work focuses on applied biochemical research, with a particular interest in the valorisation of natural side streams, antioxidant activity, and the stability of products in food and cosmetic applications. With a background in analytical chemistry and bioengineering techniques, I enjoy working in a hands-on, practice-oriented environment in close collaboration with external partners. I also supervise students in their research projects within our lab.
