Dr. Anto Charles is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the Food Biopeptides research group. Dr. Charles received his Ph.D. in Cereal Science from North Dakota State University, M.S. in Food and Animal Science from Tennessee State University, and Bachelors in Biotechnology from Anna University, India. He has published 27 scientific articles and has received over 40 awards for excellence in research, leadership, and service. Also, he was the recipient of the 2024 HANS KAUNITZ AWARD from AOCS. Apart from academic experience, Dr. Charles has also worked as a production manager and fermentation specialist in the food-biotechnology industries for over three years.
