Dr. Jenny Arnling Bååth, I have a MSc in biotechnology and hold a PhD in industrial enzymology. I am currently working as a scientist at Novonesis, in the department for oils and fats applied research. In my role, I work with the development of enzyme technology for sustainable production of basic and specialty oleochemicals.

In my previous academic carreer I always worked with ester-acting enzymes for industrial applications, including lipases, esterases and cutinases. However, here for the purpose of processing plant biomass and later on also with the focus on enzymatic plastic degradation.
