The Home Care market is moving faster than several years ago. Drivers such as margin pressure, uncertainty of supply and consumer demands on sustainability, better cost-performance, convenience and new formats are the main reasons for the ever-increasing change in Home Care formulations.
Judged from the growing presence of Eco brands/variants on shelf and the increasing use of eco-labels, consumers are starting to more accept sustainable concepts. Traditionally, the wash performance of Eco products has been lagging behind and costs generally are higher in comparison with standard products.
The presentation shows an analysis of the formulation changes in the market, with an emphasis on sustainable concepts, formulations and ingredients. The current transitioning market shows several interesting concepts with different in wash delivery profiles of (new) performance ingredients in the field of surfactants, polymers, chelates and enzymes.
