Circe is a manufacturing platform that transforms abundant raw materials like carbon dioxide into essential products through advanced gas fermentation and genetic engineering. Starting with triglycerides—a $400 billion market spanning fats, butters, and oils critical to food, chemical, and fuel industries
Our unique process uses one of the world's largest high-performance aerobic gas fermentation systems. This system allows us to utilize point-source carbon emissions to generate high-value fats and oils, giving us a competitive edge and facilitating partnerships for scaling our technology. Gas fermentation enables us to compete with incumbent technologies at scale.
Our work addresses the growing supply instability in the global food, fuel, and chemical industries, offering nature-identical, carbon-negative products without increasing costs for manufacturers. We focus on achieving price parity with existing processes while enhancing domestic supply chain resilience.
In this talk, we will present our technology platform, share our recent progress, and discuss the implications of gas fermentation in transforming manufacturing processes across various industries.
